There's a reason why this type of music is referred to as "bubblegum pop." It's because it loses flavor fast.

I understand the dilemma that Chinese entertainers are facing. They and/or their families can lose both their careers and freedom in China if they go against the government, but just as they choose to overlook human rights for their own interests, Western fans can choose not to support them, listen to their music, watch their shows, etc. I know I won't be spending my money on them.

If you take all those characteristics into account then the answer is Ateez. They have the best vocalist of the 4th gen in Jongho. Their stage presence is unrivaled. Their other vocalists, San, Seonghwa and Yunho can hold their own, and Hongjoon and Mingi songwrite, compose and produce for the group.

What do they gain? Money.

From the performances I've watched, I would rank the top three like this:

1. The Boyz - They entire group is composed of strong dancers.

2. WayV - They have Ten and Winwin who are two of the top dancers in kpop imo.

3. Ateez - They have Yunho, Wooyoung, San, Seonghwa and Yeosang which are all good dancers with exceptional stage presence.

Even though I'm not necessarily a 4th gen fan, I can admit that their dancing, performances and stage presence is generally better than most 3rd gen groups.

If pretty then Chanhee from The Boyz, Lee Know from Stray Kids and Ren from NU'EST. They have very delicate features.

A resounding no. It's too cringeworthy. I get second hand embarrassment just scrolling through Tumblr because of all the fanfics.

How do you know it's just Americans doing the criticizing? Don't generalize. Lots of people who speak English and are not Americans comment during vlive.

I have to say that New and Stray Kids' I.N. were the first ones to come to mind. They are effortlessly cute.

English can be very confusing. Unlike Romance languages, most words are pronounced differently from how they are written. Also a lot of words are written the same or sound the same, but have completely different meanings. For example all of these words sound the same:

ship - to mail something

ship - water vessel

sheep - an woolly mammal

cheap - something inexpensive

So cute.

How do people have the guts to embarrass themselves and do that cringy stuff in front of celebrities that they admire? It's so awkward that I get second hand embarrassment just watching.

To say I was bummed when the drama got postponed is an understatement. I usually don't look forward to dramas, but this only looked like it was going to be entertaining.
