what if a small 4th gen bg released good boy gone bad?

  • The song would stay the same but the members and the visuals would be different.

Do you think if a group like Mirae/Drippin/MCND/you get what I mean, released it, it would get a good reception? Do you think it would end up being ignored or even dragged because it sounds like the kind of song small 4th gen bgs release? Or do you think it would get the same, generally positive reaction, and have people acting like it's the best thing since sliced bread?

    let's discuss

  • It'd get ignored but not because it's an overhyped song, because no matter the quality of songs released most smaller groups simply go unnoticed

  • K-pop stans wouldn't even listen that comeback, let's be honest. The only 4th gen boygroups the community still pays attention in the releases are Stray Kids and TXT, maybe Enhypen.

But If they listened I doubt they would see anything special either. Because the song is really generic.

  • it wouldnt get dragged. nugus release much worse songs but it wouldn't be very hyped either

  • It'd get ignored but not because it's an overhyped song, because no matter the quality of songs released most smaller groups simply go unnoticed

my question wasn't if it would've been successful, but what the reaction of people that WOULD check them out be :-)

  • No one would be lying about it being a soty and saving 2022.

  • it's still a bad song but at least other groups would sound better because they won't get the horrible autotune.

  • It will still sound good

  • Well to be fair, if a nugu BG release Sticker or Maniac, the reception would be the same like GBGB. No one will stream the heck out of Sticker and no one will say Maniac is revolutionary. And not many will buy their albums too. What million album sales?? It’s the big label privilege y’all.
