Logically speaking, they have the right to speak about military issues. Not everyone in their 20's wants to go to the military, but they were given no choice. While, others were given a chance to be exempted...if I were in their shoes, I'd feel conflicted about it too.

They are actually against of exempting anyone aside those people with disabilities, and want to abolished the exemption as a whole. It's just sad cause BTS are getting a lot of hate compared to others who got the exemptions. These kmedia and hybe are setting BTS up.

Also, we'll never truly know the opinions of Koreans about this. Knetz are only a fraction of Korea's population and the way I see it majority of them don't care. These knetz are just the loud minority.

I think there are internal issues between the members and HYBE about enlistment (which is normal ofc). They probably don't know what to do & are still planning their strategy of enlisting if they were not given the exemption.

Knets aren't the best source. It's like asking reddit for their opinion.

But it is a country of conflict lol we occasionally have skirmishes= firefights st the DMZ and we have no peace treaty between north Korea for almost 100 fucking years. And are still technically at war with China we are technically Russia and Ukraine except the bullets and bombs haven't been fired in many years

I wonder the difference between the previous cases of exemption due to cultural achievements vs. BTS', is this time it is a lot of fans, a lot not even Korean, who are hankering for the exemption.

I don't imagine classical musicians having such demands being made on their behalf, it came from the establishment giving as a recognition.

Politicians will pander to the masses. So you would have some citing such economic arguments and others claiming that exemption is an injustice to other recruits.. typical politics.
