Yeah but NCT is under SM. MODHAUS is what......a new company under Jaden Jeong? How many small companies actually succeed in debuting and promoting a normal sized GG? Now expand that to a GG that's 4 or 5 times the size. The cost to maintain the group just multiplied. And how would you even promote anybody well enough to the public? I'm assuming you won't, so you'll have to depend on fans to basically fund the girls. So you'll probably have to go the old AKB route and cater to mostly older men with money. But will that even work in Korea and in modern times? Would Korea embrace the wota culture? And why the focus on NFT's when it's basically become a taboo word in the International sphere? I guess the target really is just to create and focus on Korean wotas.
Lots of questions and lots of ways this could go really wrong. Just saying.
From the 1st member teaser, I think they’ll at least be big financially. But because it’s a new company, yeah it’s small in that regard
I’m kinda on the fence in terms of predicting their success. I don’t see them (easily) being big with the public, but I can see them doing very well for a group that would have a niche(?) demographic as them
So long as they promote consistently & give out enough content, I can see this group being a success in what it’s aiming for, which is NFT idols I guess, especially if their fanbase is predominantly male, tho I wouldn’t put it past female too if they go for a neutral style (neutral = concept that appeals to both gender demographics)
I do worry about the fanbase this group would create. Cuz if the members are gonna be sold like NFTs, there’s def gonna be akgaes
Especially from how it says members in the group, units, and solos are determined by who’s picked by fans. And I bet the highest amount of money made will determine who gets what amongst the lineup. Sorta like AKB48 with the Election
