Why didn’t Hybe go experimental like Nmixx?

Given the current trend of disjointed, experimental songs with lore based lyrics from Aespa and Nmixx, why didn’t Hybe jump on the trend and instead go safe with Lesserafim?

Because chasing trends is for the nugu companies.

And JYP now, apparently.

Because not everything is about jumping on the latest hot trend. Sometimes people like doing their own unique thing. Also, this may not be obvious to you. But by the time Nmixx debuted, Le Sseraphim probably had finished deciding everything about their comeback.

It’s weird how some kpop stans are brainwashed into thinking noise/disjointed music is revolutionary and good&chill music is basic. They also judge MV by how “expensive-looking” it is.

Wake up call to them: good music and MV are the ones that make people enjoy them and feel connected to them. You don’t have to force yourself to like the music by listening to it 5829 times.

I just think that Hybe wants to make music that connects people. If you listen to Leserrafim’s whole album, you get that cohesive feel of what the album is about. I think Hybe doesn’t really follow trends, they make their own trends.

Its like the complete opposite of nmixx, boring repetitive song with no impact at all

Hybe is cosplaying as a big company but its clear they have no idea what to do, they just play it sound and safe

because it's hybe. their boygroups and even gfriend don't have disjointed songs either

Because they decided to follow IVE's path instead. Neither company was interested in breaking new ground.
