But Red Velvet are Big 3. Not saying they don't deserve their success because they do, but being Big 3 is always a safety net and an assurance. StayC don't have that. They could start to freefall.

Leave stayc alone, they're doing just fine. Ive had 2 members already in kpop for 3 years, basically cheated and same with lesserafim. nmixx was revelled more than 6 months before debut and had pre pre release which is basically cheating. Aespa is a whole other story and big 3 with itzy and nmixx which is cheating.

They will be fine. They have one of the strongest female fandoms in Korea, + their posts are always trending for visuals + good songs. It's the OMG strategy really, more than RV however Stayc have more visibility than OMG did.

People overstimate StayC way too much here. ASAP did fine on sk, nothing exceptional, it is stuck at 460m on gaon and won't be crossing the 100m streams or the 4m uls on melon, on international level. Stereotype and So Bad are flops, and Run2U despite peaking higher than ASAP is already losing the longeivty battle. Also their Youtube and Spotify numbers are bad, no 100m in neither and their biggers numbers are 60m at most. They are hyped to be one of the top 4th gen ggs but they ain't at that level yet, they aren't the RV or 4th gen, at most the Gfriend but with explosive sales

Lettuce see:
1. IVE/LESSERAFIM - popular produce/IZ*ONE members in each group + HYBE for LESSERAFIM
2. AESPA - SM + Next Level the biggest hit of the decade before their mini was released
3. NMIXX - JYPE pulling strings + multiple fan meeting lotteries for cheap single album
4. KEP1ER - GP999 was big internationally + Japanese members + Xiaoting IT girl + the blonde girl having a preexisting fandom due to who she's related to.
It could also be because STAYC constantly releases quality music, to which a lot of kpop fans are allergic to.
(IVE does too but they struck luck with popular members before debut)

No one said they were RV, they’re doing fine compared to the current 4th gen group.
The biggest 4th gen song in 2021 were next level, eleven and savage after that there is Asap.
Their sales are good
They have no backup and have two tracks with over 60M, which eventually reach 10 streams
They managed to repeak after Stereotype flop charting so yes they have a lot of potential but okay

You really think ive and lsrf are gonna sell more than aespa?

no big 4/produce privilege
Well, they aren't from a big company like some of the other groups.
In perspective, it is impressive they are doing well as their company isn't big.
