Why has IVE appealed to international fans so much so quickly?

    They are like 4 months old but have basically smashed so many 4th gen records internationally, longest charting 4th gen song on billboard global and Spotify global 200 with eleven.


    Their recent song love dive is already the longest charting 4th gen song in Spotify global top 100, and highest peaking in Apple Music (only Kpop group to reach top 10 with bts and bp), they even charted in Canadian hot 100 with love dive too


    Not to mention their achievements in Japan.


    With the way they are going they will easily be the biggest 4th gen group internationally.


    I haven’t seen a Kpop group blow up with international fans so quickly since BLACKPINK.

    Maybe because their music is nice? I know, it's hard to believe that the goal of these "groups" is to make music lmao

    Pre-existing fandom from Wonyoung and Yujin definitely helps. People check it out and its good, catchy and safe music.

    idk, i like their songs. their concept is something that i have not seen in other gg's before, though i can't exactly describe what it is. their songs also have interesting beats. i like them because they're not following what other girl groups are doing (which is following bp's footsteps). if they were from the big 3, they'll surely be more popular. the only thing that are holding them back is the imbalance of popularity and lack of strong mains.

    besides having two izone members, their music, visuals, concept appeals to the international taste a lot. They are probably the one gg after bp who has the highest organic international appeal.

    Each member of lesserafim is a visual too. I find them way more appealing.

    Because their songs are good and the majority of people actually want to listen to them. Music taste is subjective but for the last couple of years (since 2019 or so) kpop fans have been constantly complaining about weak music years. New groups music is labelled noisy, loud, disjointed and experimental. There's still fans who like their music but nothing that appeals to kpop fans as a whole

    The question is, will the other members be able to leave the shadow of Sakura and Chaewon? Because in Ive, Leeseo went viral with gp and Liz and Rei became stan attractors since debut, turning to dust the Wonyoung, Yujin & friends allegations. If Leserafim manage to do similar then we can talk, because having stan attractor members in the group is a much of big deal as having good music and the more the merrier.

    They have a very unique concept that I don't see much other girl group do in the 4th gens. They have good music.

    They may not stand out as much in the talent area(vocal, rap, dance), but each of them have a unique vocal color.


    As above said, each member in ive is very charismatic in their own way so each members is a stan attractors. Also, they are all pretty. :pepelove1:

    I kinda view them as a 4th gen version of BP. Every member is very charismatic and has her individual charm that does not clash with the other members‘.

    Because the music is really good.

    I listen to their songs almost everyday and I don't get tired of them, such a rare thing in kpop nowadays...

    Wonyoung and Yujin (and the fact they're the first post-izone group) took care of the lots of attention and considerable fandom from the beginning. Eleven was naturally very successful in Korea (thanks to Wonyoung) which also drew attention to them.


    Their music is nothing outstanding, but they're the most well exposed girl group with that kind of easy-listening, basic kpop music. Aespa's music is far from that, Itzy are also not quite it, and most 4th gen girl groups are imitating one of these; perhaps the only significant exception is Stayc, but they've never had the attention on them that IVE have.
