Are SM stans Allkpop's common enemy?

    In all the Coachella drama, both before and after the event, I've seen blinks, armys, and JYP stans all ganging up against SM stans. You know it's bad when the biggest BP anti Once on here is liking blink posts pepe-ooh


    All this fighting raises the question of whether SM stans are the most hated fandom on AKP. It would make sense since NCTzens/Sperm stans/Exo-ls fight with Armys and MYs fight with everyone blinks and JYP stans (and IVE and HYBE stans but that's just in anons :pepe-flirt: )


    I don't think it is possible for Armys to be the most hated because they are by far the largest fandom on here. Blinks were hated a while back when a bunch of them got banned, but the ones left seem chill and far and few between. Onces have always been seen as the friendliest of the three biggest fandoms, so it's not them either

    I’m not sure about all sm groups but aespa and nct stans deserve to defend their favs?! Just before debut aespa were attacked by armys ruthlessly because they decided to believe the fake rumors about Karina and said horrible things about her. Then when blinks found out aespa was 4 girls they decided to drag them for copying even though sm has already had a 4 member gg. Then midzys decided to jump in and drag aespa at debut for being a threat? And you all wonder why aespa stans are so quick to fight. Same for nct most fandoms always makes fun of their music and sometimes the members obviously nct stans will defend them, what fandom wouldn’t.

    There are a lot of SM groups. Hence, there are a lot of sm stans.


    I have no idea why they fight a lot with yg stans, jyp stans and hybe stan. Super funny though.

    But I guess more SM stans getting brave these days after Aespa's success so more people don't like them lol

    it's kind of a perfect storm, SM gave everyone that had a pulse a comeback in their company, and spent tons of money to create popularity for that girl group, Vespa. SM groups like RV, Exo, and NCT when compared to BP and BTS for example were getting crushed. So while both BP and BTS have been on semi hiatus, at least album wise, the SM stans have taken to creating a new "we're on top" narrative. But as usual, when BTS, BP come back and the 4 gen girl groups get a bit more experience, their groups will go back to mid status and they won't matter or cause as much drama as they do now.

    Stans need an enemy to hate and fight against when they're bored.


    Army and Once/JYP stans are by far the biggest, most active fandoms on AKP, so they dominate the narrative.

    The main 'enemy' of Army are EXO/EXO-L and BP/Blinks.

    The main 'enemy' of Once/JYP gg stans are BP/Blinks and SM ggs and their fandoms.


    Since Blinks have become few after the AKP dramas last year and mostly inactive and in hibernation due to the long BP hiatus, they're largely dismissed as main enemy - although you'll see some fight pop up once in a while, like between Army and Blinks.


    So that leaves fandoms of SM groups as the biggest remaining rivals and main enemies for Army and Once/JYP gg stans.

    Nct is never leaving the top tier as long as they keep selling 2.5m - which they are doing now and rv + aespa are too big to leave the top5 gg. Let's not even talk about Exo, a group that has already proved their legendary status (just because they aren't as active due to military enlistment doesn't mean they are gone)

    They are cringe and think sm groups dominate the industry. Too bad BTS & BP are coming back to end their delusions :pepe-life-support:
