On April 15th, News1 shared that GFRIEND's Yerin will be making her solo debut next month in mid-May.
This will be Yerin's first beginnings as a soloists. Previously, last year in May, GFRIEND had announced their disbandment.
After 7 years, Yerin will be making her solo debut releasing her first album (t/n: format not shared) since joining Sublime Artist Agency last year in June.
Yerin made her debut with GFRIEND back in 2015, and their group released hits like "유리구슬 (Glass Bead)", "오늘부터 우리는 (Me Gustas Tu)", "시간을 달려서 (Rough)", "너 그리고 나 (NAVILLERA)", '밤 (Time for the Moon Night)", and "열대야 (Fever)".
After joining as a HYBE label in 2019, GFRIEND continued to release more hits like, "교차로 (Crossroads)", "애플 (Apple)", and "마고 (Mago)". However, in 2021, GFRIEND announced their disbandment which came as a big shock to many.
Since the disbandment of GFRIEND, Yerin has been busy running her own personal YouTube channel, as well as hosting programs like MBC's "극한데뷔 야생돌 (Wild Idol)" and MBN's "매칭본부캐취업 (Catch Job)".
Yerin is currently gearing up to make her solo debut after more than a year since her group's disbandment, because of this, anticipation is growing on what to expect from Yerin's solo debut.
