Why are there so few armys around these days?

Compared to other fandoms armys still remain relatively active. But that's not saying much .

There are few threads here and there. But compared to only 1 year earlier , in non comeback periods, this forum seem to have lost like 90% of army activity.

I don't get it. Armys used to dominate first page and each thread had so many pages.

Even the guild is dead.

Did I miss something?

As an army I just feel like there's nothing to talk about right now. Other than enlistment that is. But that horse has been dead for so long that everyone's just kicking bones around at this point.

That and 2021 was abysmal. I think I'd feel a lot more excited about the news that they were spotted filming something if I wasn't secretly dreading yet another disco pop english single.

first "where are all blinks/mys" now "where are all armys".. think this forum is just getting less engagement in general.

however, for the army question. i'm close with many armys who used to be frequent posters on this forum, but there has been a shift here recently... bts got always dragged a lot here, just like other big groups, but the recent dislike and hate for them is different & it's really pushing people away from this forum. it used to be mostly trolls, but now even "neutral" users seem to have something vile to say about them. this combined with bts just enjoying their concerts & not releasing any (music) content, there's just less for armys to talk about too.

They haven't release a new song for almost a year now. I saw hundreds of users checkin on the grammy thread tho.

A comeback will make them active again for sure.

Because of the toxicity towards armys and BTS many left. Which could be true for other popular groups too, but the toxicity here is very high when it comes to BTS and ARMYs

Must be different timezones because whenever I come on here the kpop forum is full of positive BTS threads (I specify positive so people don't come back and try to argue that they're just anti's threads, they're not) and it's the reason why I don't come on here as much anymore.

no idea why you sound so angry? i know at least 10+ armys who left this forum bc of the hostility...

just bc a couple of persistent army keep making positive bts threads doesn't erase the "hope bts gets into a huge scandal/maybe a serious accident will give another a chance to dominate/..."threads from other users?

no one is saying only bts is getting hate, just that the amount of it recently has driven away a lot of army from here, which is just the truth? this is meant as just a fun free time activity, can't blame people for not wanting to spend their free time on a forum where such threads happen.

We are humans with jobs and aren’t into drama these days.
