Ive is tall

  • the shortest member in ive is gaeul at 5'5 which is the same height as me and I'm considered average height/slightly taller depending on what group of people I'm hanging out with

wonyoung is so frkn tall (shes supposedly 5'8 but I feel like shes slightly taller) and so are the other girls.

Rei and Leeseo were the biggest shocks to me because I thought they were like 5'2 but no they're 5'6.

It's crazy how tall the girls are.

man the metric system for all its base 10 supremacy never hits the usability levels of anthropometric measurements

(and before you start on how the conversions between imperial units are nonsensical -- they are but not because someone made them that way, its because it used to be four or five different systems that kinda adopted each other over time and they had to define the relationships between them. )

No wonder yall european sizes are sizes are so weird lol 1 liter of beer is wayy to much but one deciliter of beer -- might as well take it in a shot glass lmfao

take a cup for a work party, take a quart for gettin wasted. No one gonna try to break their liver on a liter or being all fancy on a deciliter

Plus who in the world can actually visualize a hundred and a half of centimeters in their heads???!!?? it is however EXCEEDINGLY easy to visualize 5 feet plus a change of inches. if ya got lost, look at your foot and that plus a smidge more is one customary foot. boom. done.

heck I even didn't bring a laser range finder and my buds and I switched out for size 11 work boots (those are pretty close to a foot, give or take a half inch) and just walked it. nothing I have easy access to (besides a yardstick) is anything similar to a decimeter or a meter lmfao.

come back when you can open your minds to other measurement systems' merits.
