It's honestly sad when people talk about "fillers" within a group because it doesn't make sense. Kpop groups go through so much training and scrutiny prior to their debut. Some might not have as much training as others, be as captivating or talented or "bias worthy", etc. Still, someone picked these members out and put them into a group that was being invested into. Something was seen in them, be it potential, the will to work hard, ambition, a fitting personality or style, it can be so many things, honestly.
