Exactly.

People get mad when rich people spend their money. But imagine how happy the caterers, the venue owners, and the florists must have felt to get that Hyunbin/Yejin money?

I don't get why people get mad when rich people spend their money excessively. Like, how is that hurting you? Whether they spend it or not, they still have it and you don't? Better if they disperse it out to the people who don't have it than hoarding it all to themselves.

If they aren't going to give to charity, they might as well spend it to help the economy.

I think that's true for regular everyday couples. It's crazy to spend too much on your wedding since divorce is always an option. But for a couple like the Song/Song couple who literally made that money back probably in like a few months, probably doesn't matter much.

But then again, while it's not the smart move, I don't judge people who decide to go big on their weddings. Their money, and if they want a big day just for them to remember for their rest of their lives, for good or bad, then I say do what you want. YOLO.
