That is the answer.

This is even sillier when you can look over and see full capacity shows that groups are safely holding in the US in venues of all sizes. No covid outbreaks from these performances.

Same reason sportspeople achieving good results during the Olympics are exempt from military service, but the biggest pop group in the world isn't (not yet at least)

Yes, it's still about money, ofc it's double standards.

I think they should base the standards off indoor v. outdoor not music v. sports. Football and baseball being played outdoors makes sense but sports like basketball and figure skating should be more limited as they are indoor sports.

So artists have to do concerts in quiet without fans cheering but here you have 60k ppl cheering...
