No it's true. All of their most popular girl groups are incredibly hyped up during their first few years but when it comes to long-term success they're dead last among big3. It's been this way since Wonder Girls, I wonder why.

Wonder girls and twice have good longevity

I don't know, but Straykids seem to be different. They are getting bigger every year.

I honestly think SKZ will be the exception.

the disrespect to Twice just because they are not digital monsters in sk

There's some K-pop fairy tales that K-pop fans fool themselves and other K-pop fans with.
That JYPE is the best, friendliest company and the best to their artists, that SM is the Evil Empire that only deals in slave contracts, that YG enables criminals and criminal behavior on one hand and that YG idols are the only 'real artists' and so on.
While reality is a lot less black & white and more complex. Ironically, SME are the company where so far the most groups and artists keep renewing their contracts, while of the Big 3 JYPE have the most of their groups and artists not renewing their contracts.
That might change when the first of their 3rd gen groups has to decide whether to stay or leave.
But so far that has been the pattern.

Got7, 15& and day6 are 3rd gen and the first two already decided to leave the company while day6 is barely surviving. Only twice is left

Day6 basically said they are disbanding, but for now they all have to go through military so their contract is frozen.
It's because they don't really focus on making diverse images for their groups. Example SM pits the members and starts fanwars with each other like they purposefully pushed Karina at first to get Winter fans mad, and then they are pushing Winter as a "new star". Same with Irene and Joy, Irene C-fans hate Joy, while Joy fans are wary of Irene stans. But in that way all the members have an individual identity.
JYP groups have the best group chemistry, but they don't do as well as time goes on because they lose their "freshness" which is why the trajectory goes down. I also think SKZ, being self-produced w the "underdog" narrative as a JYP bg will break the curse and be the only ones. SM tries to manufacture that themselves (purposefully pushing EXO down, inciting fanwars, baiting fans, not stocking enough albums) and YG is an even worse image of that.
Some JYP groups are forgettable imo. GOD is only remembered by older fans and by PJH's variety skills. 2pm with their solo artists Taecyeon, Nichkyun and now Junho but Junho is known for acting. WGs have been forgotten by many int stans besides "the group Sunmi was in". SM/YG have their share of forgettable groups but JYP has more tbh.....management styles.

they aren't after longevity. they want explosive groups for a few years, and then move onto the next one. they never give older groups support or resources, they don't support them as solo acts, and they don't allow them the opportunity to branch out outside of the group so they depend fully on the group and the company. and then they're too old to continue to take up resources, and everything goes to the newest group. all companies have their pros and cons, but i think jype has the least pros

WG had members leave and come in regularly as if they were a rotational group. Their popularity also was pretty up and down, it was never consistent.
Twice have drastically flopped on charts for years now. There’s rumours of members possibly not renewing. Tzuyu family called out jyp, that’s not a good sign with negotiations coming up. Jeongyeon might leave due to injury. Who knows what others choose to do.
