idk about BP but BTS at this point releases kinda similar to a Western artist. They don't need to comeback 2x a year and can take their time. Only kpop seems to have has such frequent releases. I get why it happens but I'm still a little surprised when someone complains about a group not having a ton of comebacks or not focusing on music and I look and see that it's actually a pretty normal number of releases for any other market.

Good point. Since enhypen debut, bts haven't released any album. Only singles. Butter, ptd, remixes, my universe, film out. Hybe is trying to divert armys to their newer groups and succeeding. Armymultis already unstanning bts. Alot of moarmys became moas, armyengenes became engenes in this time. Other armys also talk more about txt, enhypen, trainee a than bts. So they are in transition to become multiarmys and then unstan bts. Hybe is smart. Armys are dumb. Ex armys got easily brainwashed by company tactics.

Of course bts loses fans all the time as evidenced by the number of ex army on this site alone but they gain many more than they lose. That’s why the fandom is always growing. I’ve seen just as many people say they’ve fallen in love with bts again after unstanning them in the past. And a lot of the armys I see haven’t even witnessed their first comebacks yet.

This is not narrative. This is reality. Bts gains fans on their own. Hybe is dividing them for their other groups. Giving their groups different concepts that they tried with bts and succeeded is one way to do it. Reducing activities of bts is another one. By doing these two things they are making everyone a multis. When you become a multi, you will eventually unstan older group. Because they reduce their activities, military and disbandment.
