Stray Kids Yes24 Reason Not Adding Up!

  • First of all, Yes24's index points are bigger than the actual sales when converted.

So no, It's not enough to "move up several places". If you retire these sales, they would still be around 20-30k ahead of the second place in the prediction.

If you want to start a revolution because of a a dozen copies, okay. Go ahead.

Assuming the sales will be low doesn't excuse what jyp has potentially done.

For a company and man that is so heavy with accusations about this kind of thing and now doing it themselves potentially? This behavior is pretty shameful.

And again no one here is attempting to disprove the fact that the list quite clearly states these a re Korean sales being reported to a US chart.

I'm not assuming, It's confirmed in the Index Points since they are extremaly low, like any album from the imported section. What is expected given the prices.

And I'm not going to sit here and discuss the possibility of JYP intentions from something that isn't even confirmed that will be accepted or not.

What matters to be is If Stray Kids' sales are legit and they are, so I don't have anything else to discuss.

According to Yes24 for that is infact not true.

  • According to Yes24 for that is infact not true.

Okay, If 0,005% of their sales not being legit makes you sleep better at night....

  • It isn't proven it will count. I did offer an alternative choice for that option and that is questioning if the product description is lying.

But is that the best we can hope for? From a company as big a jyp? That they lie about manipulating billboard sales as an exclusive album sweetener?Kind of pathetic from them.

But again this has equal chance of being true as option A, jyp is indeed attempting to manipulate the chart in the exact same way SM did. By falsely registering Korean sales as US ones, a tactic that we know worked in the past.

I'm hoping for nothing, you are the one invested here. It's clear for me there's nothing wrong with skz sales.

  • If it's true then that's a really desperate move by jyp.. They're gonna their their group look like a clown when they go for US promo.

  • all these drama over bb200. once they get on hot100 we'll talk.

bb200 is easy to achieve nowadays, good for mediaplay but after bts made it their playground, it's not really important anymore.

  • Hy can I ask how's this easy to achieve? Doja hasn't achieved one and I remember how hard it back in 2017 for bts to achieve this.

I'm not talking about US artists since their strength don't rely on pure physical sales. It is now easy for big to semi kpop groups because they have good pure sales. it was hard before for BTS but it's easy now for other groups because labels have more experience dealing with kpop groups and with just some tricks, it's not hard for groups to have high positions or even #1 with good timing.

  • If jype wanted to manipulate the charts they could've done that earlier and not wait 4 years of skz's career. Just accept that skz is popular if you can't then keep researching cz you're that jobless.
