Why Korea loves Bigbang so much?

They cancel everyone over such silly things , then how come BB survived so much shit? Daesung being accused of killing someone, seungri burning sun scandal, drug scandals and many other still their latest track did so well. Why? I'm confused.

Like it or not, they have high quality music and awesome performances that catch your attention. Also, Koreans like authentic and self producing acts.

Daesung was involved in a car accident but the man sadly had already been involved in a hit and run and was left lying in the road, he didn't see him. It was an accident.

And as far as smoking weed goes, I've no idea what Koreans think about that. It's weird to me though when international fans act like it's a scandal. Literally someone with a Rihanna pfp (she's smoked weed in her photoshoots) was calling them out for it on twitter yesterday...

Ultimately Korea loves them because their music slaps. Bit of a tough one for 4th gen fans to understand.

i think it's because they have a more ''macho'' and gangsta image than most boy groups they look more ''rugged'' in a way than most bgs, i prefer soft masculinity so i don't get the hype but oh well
