Longevity or peak - what matters more in the long run?

    If eleven had both which is what next level did then this wouldn't be up for a debate but eleven's peak isn't on par as next level. So you can't use it to support your claim, people discuss both how next level longevity is lender as well as their peak and being the first 4th gen group to reach 1 on melon 24 hits. Next level and eleven are not the same.

    Spring day never reached number 1 yet it is the biggest song on melon charts in history. So I'd go with longevity. There so many songs that never charted high decades ago when they were released yet still climb the charts now; those are the true hits.

    just look at its digital index points. If eleven's end up having more digital index points until chart out than savage, then it's bigger than savage. If it's not, then savage is bigger.

    Longevity means having long life, a long existence. So essentially the thread's title answered itself. A song less than a year would be considered longevity? Seriously, I know anon makes nonsense thread and replies, but really guys? Even the comments.

    Longevity with no big peak is just another group that will fade into memory.

    To me, longevity matters more. I am not talking about this eleven vs savage comparison, I mean overall.


    If you peak at #1 and then fall off the chart in three days, it's not that good of an achievement. Meanwhile, even if you stay in 150 at the middle ranks but for months, I would call this admirable and very good. It's better to have your song enjoyed for months than forgotten after a week

    Eleven imo is bigger than Savage. Both peaked at #2 on Gaon digital chart btw.


    Longevity matters more than peak. What good is a peak if the longevity is trash? Just look at how HWAA performed and there's your answer.

    longevity defines who is legend and who is not peak can be just one hit wonder or just few hits
