I skimmed the forums, and didn't see any threads on this, so:
- Watched on: Netflix
- Starring: Kim Sohyun (Love Alarm), Um Ki-joon (The Penthouse: War in Life), Lee Minhyuk (BtoB)
- Seasons: 1
- Length: 12 episodes, approx. 10-18 minutes each
If you liked Goosebumps as a kid or Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, then I think Nightmare High is up your alley. Each "scary story" takes place over two episodes with an overarching theme that connects all of them. So you'll basically know right away if you'll like it or not. It doesn't deviate from this structure, so if you want a major shake-up, it won't happen. But at the same time, you won't have a "wtf was that" episode ruining the theme or tension.
It isn't really horror to me, but more "ooh, wouldn't that be creepy," and it's well carried by the main trio of actors. If you've got a couple hours to spare -- or really, just 20-30 minute increments to watch two episodes at a time -- and you don't mind stories that give you the heebie jeebies, then I think you'll like it.
