  • COVID *OMICRON* is a whole *new* game in terms of the level

that it SPREADS in a population = VERY RAPIDLY ...
Once it gets 'loose' (OMICRON) , it SPREADS ...

So , but , because S.K is 85% vaccinated , it means that

as a PERCENTAGE of those INFECTED , that PERCENTAGE

should be FAIRLY SMALL that *DIE* from COVID OMICRON.

Also in terms of needing to be HOSPITALIZED = *MUCH* LESS.

    ...

Having said that , S.K HOSPITALS will be *STRESSED OUT*

by those SICK and DYING (eventually) , who are 'members'

of about 3% of population that get VERY SICK from OMICRON infection.

    ...

But , S.KOREA has done ALL that it can do it ...

And made the *correct* decisions , in terms of using

the *PFIZER* and *MODERNA* high quality vaccines.

    ...

The DEATHS are what matter ... And S.KOREA has done

*correctly* (vaccination) what it can to MINIMIZE DEATHS.

There *will* be a RECORD NUMBER of TOTAL COVID DEATHS

for a given DAY too ... But , that does NOT mean that S.KOREA

is doing a bad job with COVID protection of their population.

The *high percentage* of VACCINATED S.KOREANS *proves*

that S.KOREA is , in fact , doing the *best* that it can (mostly).

    ...

NOT saying that this *340,000* OMICRON *DAILY* Infected

is 'good news' in any way ... Only that the 'good news' is that

S.KOREA has actually done *WELL* and *all it can* to prepare

for this *bad* situation ... S.K now has to 'ride it out' , and *eventually*

the OMICRON DAILY INFECTIONS will fade back to more normal levels.
