Jackson reveal that JYP prevented him from solo promotion at South Korea

Every day I think this company can't get worse yet here we are.

so basically JYPE think of their groups as a quick cash grab with no long term plans past the standard kpop group life shell. that's why a- they don't let them promote individually and further their solo careers and b- the artists run away as soon as they can

Just curious as normally "JYP" is mentioned and I think on the person and not "JYPE" the company. I read JYPE sometimes and JYP in other places so is it the company's fault or JYP the person which probably has a say in stuff?

I read sometime long ago JYP wasn't the CEO of JYPE anymore but I don't know if I remember well

No he isn't but if you read the company profile on Bloomberg you can see he may not be the CEO but he is the majority share holder, the chief creative officer(which means he pretty much heads up the creative direction/branding of the company) and most importantly is the executive director which to my understanding is a board position in Korea above the CEO.

Wook Jung is the companies CEO. Make no mistake about it, many fans don't really know this and think just because Jinyoung isn't the CEO that he isn't running things but in terms of company branding, direction, creative decisions and overall highest position on the board it's Jinyoung Park at the head of that .

jyp was jealous of him. Twice needs to leave next.
