If this year is their best yet they have a chance, considering those unless daesangs award shows like to give out

while bp have streams & sales to back up their biggest gg title, it's interesting to see that they haven't won any big award yet, not in korea & not internationally. they may be beyond a daesang, but all the others?

no daesang, no bbma, no ama, .. sure they have some pca's, MTV award & couple of non american ones, but the actual big ones are missing. their biggest achievement (that isn't streams/sales) is probably the Variety one.

Not while BTS exists no. And for soty there's so much competition that it wouldn't be a guarantee. Anything can happen. Just look at how they had 2020 soty in the bag with hylt but then dynamite happened. Too many digimons and viral songs in Korea these days.

Those streams are mostly SEA/kpop fans who have no lives and stream like they're own lives depend on it. I know you and others like you need them to be special to make your existence make sense, but they're not, and will never be.

the day bp wins a daesang/bbma/ama/... you can be sure blinks will use it to establish bp's position & drag other gg. they can bs all they want & say they and bp don't care for these huge awards, but even artists like TS care about these awards (maybe not the daesang one lmao).

even some blinks here make 4+ threads when bp receive any sort of achievement (for example pca's, which aren't even big awards for bp's status) & twt blinks foam at the mouth of excitement for the smallest accomplishment, but sure they won't care for actual big awards...
