There are obvious choice like songs that underperformed right but the one comeback I want to talk about :
Call me Baby
It’s not a bad song it’s one of the best but to have Call Me Baby after…Pathcode was literally the definition of “it did not give what needed to be gave”
Pathcode was basically the high budget travel the word cryptic teaser series released ahead of EXODUS and it basically had absolutely nothing to do with the actual call me baby comeback.
This happened because the song exodus was supposed to be the TT on EXODUS the album and I’m assuming that had a completely different concept but LSM asked to change it to CMB right before release. Which you know was the right choice in the end. And everything worked out.
But that first day comeback shock eggsols got was hilarious.
