isn't there the whole "SM buying possible competition & shelfing them" conspiracy ? them buying infinite when they were getting too big & (on purpose) not handling them well
i've also heard from insiders that big companies are known to support projects against other groups, organised by their groups' fandoms. for example, exols' "break wings" project against bts. big chance some sm staff had a hand in the organisation bc that project was scarily well planned.

True, there are too many coincidences for them to be a coincidence.

The upcoming groups will be debuted under hybe. Hybe will own them and no other label will be in charge of them. Ador, source, they're all considered hybe so basically that's hybe's own labels which will produce hybe's own groups. Meanwhile belift is half hybe and half CJ.
Hybe still owns half of belift..

I don't think hybe has 100% of source, correct me if I'm wrong

Do you mean belift or the other labels under hybe? Belift is owned with 49% by hybe, the rest labels under them I don't know

Did you forget that they didn't inform anyone that Dimension: Answer is a repackaged album which affected its charting? It was probably done so they don't break their other group's records. Weird how all other Hybe albums have been counted correctly. Plus they still don't have an American label unlike +×+ who have it since debut.

As far as I know hybe own 80% from source (gfriend company and sakura group) and 85% from pledis (seventeen company) which is a lot, they basically own those companies but they still have to share profits. They only own big hit and ador. I think they are trying to experiment without touching big hit brand like they prefer to debut their new gg (ador) under an independient label instead under big hit.
