Do people here really think nct is not a good dance group?

I saw some interesting comments about nct here recently and I was shocked. Something about them not measuring up to 4th generation groups and how most of them wouldn't make it in strong dance groups and I didn't know if they were talking about the same nct i know

Where did this narrative come from? And why and how?

First of all they are not from the 4th GEN, for the sake of comparison alone, it should be with 3rd gen. There is only one member from the group that is pushed as a best dancer by the company. So for non fans he is more known , they don’t push the group in whole. While watching few performances, they seem stiff and their choreography is weird except for cherry bomb.

that's the thing lol they're one of the best dance groups out there.They have some of the hardest choreos and some of the best main dancers.

Not true, many non fans can name at least 3 or more outstanding dancers in NCT that are being pushed as such by the company.

This was the first time I see people say such nonsense about nct and with such conviction you'd think it was an established fact. I guess this is how narratives are born.

Nobody would shade their dancing in main and you know it. Only in anons csn someone get away with such lies.

Most kpop stans have the knowledge of a rock and just parrot thing they've seen their fandom say on twitter. They really think if you just say something enough times that it's true.

NCT choreos are nuts plus they have some incredibly good dancers in the project as a whole that picking on dancing is a stupid thing to hate on NCT for.

you need to either keep your eyes closed or be very insecure about your faves to say they're not good

never saw it. but, i feel bad for them stanning their mediocre fourth gen faves if that is true.

Look up that anon thread talking about which company has the more talented boy groups and you will see people downplaying NCT's dance skills there.

anyway, nct is a third-gen group. the closest unit that would come to 4th gen is WayV, but even that's 2019... so not at all recent.

either way, OP's right. NCT definitely has some of the best dancers I've seen in a group as a whole. they're doing great for a group with 23 members. sure, some are born aces but I've never found any of them lacking. and i say this from the bottom of my heart with utmost honesty. i mean, its pretty evident seeing all of the choreography they do whether it's a simple nct u song or a dream comeback.

I don’t like NCT but I have to admit they are good at dancing. Not the best but good enough. Don’t know people are saying they are not good.
