[rant kind of] people that use this word as an insult

People that use "autistic" as insult deserve to be punched in the face.
Not punched by me, because I don't want my hand to get dirty by trash.
Agreed, no one should be insulting anyone's disability or mental disorders/disability's. No one knows the shit we go through on a daily basis unless they have it themselves.
and even then shouldn't insult it. everyone is different and deals with it and handles it differently. so stupid to insult people who can't help what they have.

There are also those people who misuse the term and call themselves “autistic” and “adhd”, or some random mental disability yet exhibit no characteristic of such. Not sure if it’s just attention seeking or just to seem edgy… which is kind of weird.

I still remember the word Retard being used as an insult when I was growing up
