Motoreo and Boatliet | short story

  • "how about a tragic story of two motorboats who just want to be in love but are separated by their owners never to be on the waters..."

Nah, a motorboat version of Romeo and Juliet. (or this story is inspired by it.)

Not that well written, but whatever...

    Motoreo and Boatliet

There were two motorboat owners, Mr. Capulet and Mr. Montague, who were enemies.

Because Capulet thought "Sticker" by NCT 127 was a masterpiece, but Montague disagreed.

Montague's boat, Motoreo, was standing by the harbour being sad about being rejected by the boat, Rosaboat, who he had a huge crush on.

To cheer himself up, he decided to go on a random trip in the sea.

Capulet's boat, Boatliet, was standing and staring at her reflection in the sea, admiring her own beauty.

When she looked up, she saw a handsome motorboat sailing by.

He started noticing her too and felt something fluttering inside of him as if there were butterflies inside his engine.

    He sailed towards her.

    Her bow turns pink.

"Hi, what is your name?" he asked her.

    "Boatliet." she responded. "Yours?"

    "Motoreo."

    "That is a nice name."

"You have a nice name too."

They stared at each others in admiration.

"You know what?" Motoreo said. "You make my heart flutter."

She giggled. "We're motorboats, we don't have hearts."

"I know, but will you be my sweetheart?" he asked.

"Yes, because you seem like a wonderful boat."

    Motoreo blushed.

"So, who is your owner?" Boatliet asked.

    "Montague."

"Oh, wherefore art thou Montague's boat?" she asked disappointed.

Motoreo was confused about why she was speaking so old-fashioned.

"So, does that mean you are Capulet's?" he asked.

"Yes, we can't be together, but I feel like we are destined to be lovers."

"Why don't we love in secret instead?" he asked. "Our owners don't need to know."

"But what if they find out?"

    "Trust me, they won't."

Then he sailed away on his way home.

Then both of them started meeting each others in secret.

One night, Boatliet was standing outside of Mr. Capulet's harbour.

She was thinking about Motoreo and how he made her blush.

Then she noticed him sailing towards her.

"What are you doing here?" she asked. "Capulet might see you."

"I'm sure that he is sleeping right now. Don't worry."

"But what if he wakes up and...?"

"Don't worry." he interrupted. "And I am here to to tell you to sail away with me. Away from our owners."

"But Capulet will be sad if he notices that I'm gone."

"He would most likely just buy a new one."

"You don't understand." she said annoyed.

"So..." she heard a voice behind them saying. "This is Montague's boat, right?"

She turned around and saw Capulet standing there, holding a hammer.

The man got on board on Motoreo and his the engine and other parts of the boat with his weapon.

He then got of the boat that he broke.

    "Bo- Boatliet." Motoreo stuttered.

Then he leaned his bow against her bow.

"Thus with a kiss I sink." he whispered, before he sank to the bottom of the sea.

"I can't wait to see Montague's face when he finds out I broke his boat." Capulet said and laughed, before he went.

    Boatliet was standing there, sad.

She felt seawater on her bow.

Then she decided to sail away from Capulet and never returned.

    The End.

What the heck did I just write...?

  • You wrote something Shakespeare would be proud of.

  • Next I'll write the explicit motorboat poem, just kidding.
