IVE members popularity per country ( excluding Wonyoung and Yujin )

( Wonyoung and Yujin are excluded from this for obvious reasons.. I don’t need to say who’s the top 2 everywhere lol )

between the 4 members of IVE that I left out, here’s the most popular in each country

Korea : Leeseo. Liz seems to be second, then Rei, then Gaeul.

Japan : Rei. The rest is too hard to estimate because there’s no significantly big amount of J-fans that aren’t Wonyoung, Rei or Yujin biased.

China : Liz. She has 44k Weibo followers as of now. The second is Leeseo, then Gaeul, Rei is last and there’s a gap between her and Gaeul. Gaeul has two times the followers of Rei, Leeseo has 2.5 times the followers of Gaeul. There’s a gap of only 8k between Liz and Leeseo, but Liz has the most viewed fancam out of the two.

An observation about Rei and Wonyoung :

Rei caught a lot of non fans attention. She has a surprisingly big amount of fanarts from J-fans, her comments are half korean half japanese. Contrary to popular belief, japanese members aren’t automatically popular in their country, but Rei overcame the curse lol

Wonyoung’s popularity in China is surprisingly… very recent. In April 2020 she didn’t even have 50k followers, now she has 213k. In one month ( december 2021 ) she gained over 40k followers.

other than that Leeseo and Rei seems to have the most number they're truly stan attractors Liz comes close to in general all the members of Ive seems to attract fans the only one with small amount of fans is Gaeul

and yeah thats pretty accurate, it just show how well balanced their popularity is, with liz being the most popular in china, leeseo in korea and rei in japan.

gaeul needs to catch up but she has a lot of stans herself. she was the one who caught my attention the most predebut and people love her chill, laid back personality. amazing visual too. imo the main reason she is the least popular is bc she got the least lines in eleven. and i think it was better that it was her than any other member tbh, maybe the others would be too behind if they got as less lines and moments to shine than her.
