From my observation, I think the public opinion has definitely turned against NFTs recently, especially the demographics that consume kpop the most, so I hope they give up on it
plus it would be ironic for JYPE to sell NFTs and do that "Save The Earth" campaign at the same time…idk if I can expect reason from that company though, even when it comes to their reputation

Wait, they're doing a "Save The Earth" campaign? This is news to me. I know BLACKPINK and Chuu were up to something like that (speaking at the UN about it and making videos of doing small things to help the Earth, respectively). honestly I'm not even sure if that's the actual name, but time to time there's content of idols encouraging habits to protect the environment and there was something with reusable bottles and eco-friendly soap iirc?

These are FACT'S they give no fucks what fans think. They know nfts make money and they want more money! Hybe has already started the process followed by sm entertainment. Besides they know YOU the minority of fans won't buy it but the large majority of obsessed dick measuring contest fans will. Just like they are the ones funding ridiculous birthday projects buying Islands and shit and charities etc named after idols and bulk buying hundreds of the same album for evey fanmeet and buying thousands to inflate numbers to make xyz number 1 this has been done for every kpop group ever. Nfts will be another thing rich or obsessed fans buy. To drive this home someone sold a bts meal from McDonald's for 300,000$ 🤡🤡✋ so yes the "fans" will buy it no matter the cost example people crying about hybe and its insane prices on BTS merch or bad quality yet the shit keeps selling out in 0.5secs sooooo
