But I’d do it for free but I think I need to set up a yt channel to broadcast the interview myself too then.

True. I'm sorry, I guess I don't understand how you would have a press pass without some kind of backing that would give you an in on it. But if you don't, it would be better for you to have a YT channel then. Not only so you could monetize it, but for you to have more cred. Unfortunately, it's not like you have a lot of time to build a follower base.

Either you are an employee at a media or you can freelance (me).
But if I secure the american media I will hopefully be first in line. Unless they want a big shot anchor to do the interview.
