I guess it's the same for other celebs as well (non-kpop ones) maybe you want to find someone who is in the same industry, shared the same issues from training to having to be perfect all the time and whatnot...

others might want to find someone completely different and not in the limelight

there's a reason people like to cheat and one of hte most popular jdramas of all time is about a teacher-student relationship

since that jdrama blew up there have been so many more asian dramas that do the forbidden love ( usually pedophilia or cheating trope ) cause it gets the audience hooked
