    Define success stans -- I still don't quite have a good grasp of the concept.

    I'm guessing "Ive has a lot of success stans" is the new "Wonyoung and friends" now that "Wonyoung and friends" idea flopped. God forbid IVE have casual fans aside from their core fans, that might just like their music. After all, it's not like IVE is doing well on the charts or anything, that, you know, usually depends on the general public or lots of casual listeners.

    Yes, every successful group has success stans, but that doesn't mean that is the only reason people are showing support or defending them. Again, success fans exist but so too do casual fans.


    But anyways, I'm going to let y'all be. It's obvious the only reason this is being talked about is because people here were taken by surprise and don't like how so many people are supporting or defending IVE in anon. Probably the same people who were hoping and praying for IVE to flop pre-debut and are still under the delusion it will happen. Literally, there is a user with a post above me that proves that, them practically wetting themselves at the thought of IVE flopping like a weirdo.

    There is a difference between people who thought they would flop, and those who hoped they would. *Hope* being the key word there. Thinking that IVE won't do well pre-debut isn't a crime nor is liking them after debut once actual content is available. That doesn't make them fake or purely success stans.


    As for the main forum part, that can be said for just about any group. Main forum is pretty dead in general compared to anon. Most fans stick to guilds or Artist threads. Even then, I see plenty of threads about IVE. I'm a fan but I don't post a million threads on main about IVE. In fact, I don't think I've posted a single thread about IVE on main and yet I did here. I also post a lot here too. Anons is just more interesting.


    Anyway, just because a fandom isn't loud on main doesn't mean they don't exist or have lots of supporters.

    Someone needs to stan ive to have a chance to argue and shade aespa because their faves arent doing well or flop so hard so of course they need to find and stan someone which is on the same level of aespa.. gg stan are so predictable…. That’s why i dont stan gg… getting so ridiculous

    Apparently, saying IVE is charting better than Aespa internationally (which is true, Eleven has in fact out lasted every Aespa song on Global Spotify and charted much better than any Aespa song in Japan) is equivalent to token stanning IVE to hate on Aespa

    Why aren't ive stans active on the main like itzy and aespa? Why is ive always mentioned with respect to aespa? Ive's existence even on anon is due to aespa. Why are all ive stans hiding? Why ashamed to show your support?

    99% of aespa's fandom are succes stans. Charts is all they talk about the whole time

    Do some people token stan IVE against aespa? Sure. I know I do when I think it's funny. However, it's unreasonable to expect a plethora of genuine IVE fans on the forum when the group is barely two months old with only one title track under their belt. It doesnt change the fact that IVE has achieved a crazy amount of success in such a period of time. It's the most impressive first weeks of a 4th gen gg besides ITZY's Dalla Dalla era.
