so we all know like how we (in america at least) stereotype blonde white girls to be dumb and sluts or whatever?

and obviously its not 100% true, but not everyone is smart

so what im basically trying to say is the smallest things are and can be stereotyped- and then whatever it is that was stereotyped is the new standard for whatever it was

like for ppl who dress more alternative or goth or whatever- they r set out 2 be depressed and hurt themselves- only listen to mental rock

and it can be true yes, but not always

there is obviously more things that are stereotyped about a certain group of people but i just put 3 - 2 have less typing

but honestly, i dont think it can ever be fixed

its been set so far back in our generations that theres little we can do about it as of now sadly

idk if i made much sense but i have been trying to get this point across to my mom and she wont listen lmao

  • Sadly, they'll likely always be a thing as long as generalizations exist. Even specific K-pop fandoms get stereotyped.

I wanted to make a note on one thing that you mentioned. It's interesting how that "blonde" stereotype is getting phased out a bit in recent years. Now it seems more like girls who look like Kim Kardashian are getting that stereotype put on them. It's unfair and sad. It also comes to show how stereotypes evolve and new ones arise over time.

As much as it seems like a never-ending problem, it's up to us to hold ourselves to a higher standard, to not resort to making brash generalizations about people or groups of people. We can at least balance it out.

we could attempt to, but most likely fail
