I think because Jae hasn't matured...like at all. His personality was cute when he was in his early/mid 20s, but homeboy is 30 now and still acts like a high schooler. In fact, he tries to act edgier than before and that makes his cringiness unbearable.

He used to be the dorky boy next door and now he's transformed his image as some edgelord.

This just really tells you how many idols in kpop that aren’t showing their real selves thanks to the kpop system. Kinda scary thinking about it that someone you truly like and respect, can be an arsehole
