They are given the opportunity to perform there so why not going? it is not like the opportunity is there everyday LMAO. I would not call that a US promotion since they dont have distributors or signed with any US labels.. it is good for them that they can give some exposure and get people to know about them and their concept, and yeah the world is not involved around US but if they could get their attention, why not try?

They have had a other US promotions though... Nick Cannon, Trevor Noah etc. I don't know what you count as promotion. But that is clearly promo.

They are popular in s.k and couple other asian countries like most k-pop groups. There are only 2 groups actually known outside of asia

Well, SMA voting just closed, and Aespa was the third top girl group in global votes only after BP (Lisa, Rose) and Twice.

So maybe they aren't huge globally but they are seemingly more popular than every other group out there that's not Blackpink or Twice.

They are like just other sm groups. Popular only in korea and china because of company stans. They can't grow out of that niche with those bad songs. They are following the trajectory of other sm groups.
