You might dislike it, but this kind of music charts/sells well, so of course they will make more and more of it. It's not so much a decline as it is giving people what they want.

SM used to have the strongest music in K-Pop, but most of their releases this year should have gone straight through the shredder. EXO and Red Velvet's comebacks were forgettable. NCT's Sticker was the ugliest song I've ever heard. And now Girls On Top. It wasn't just the lyrics that sucked. Hopefully we never have to hear that mess again and the official song will be good, but SM's music direction is running off the rails and it's a sad thing.

Sm just have a bad lyric. But other than that, the production of the song which is instrumental and adlibs is top notch

sm is used with songs like that. They've been doing it since forever, they won't just throw it out. Just chill.

never liked sm artists music and never will. the only group that released somewhat bearable music was exo, the rest's songs are as if i wrote them and that's not a compliment

It is a decline when you know it's bad yet you keep producing trash because of money. When you don't care about people and only think about cash grabs, you have moral issues. This isn't a criticism towards the artists but towards the company.

eh sm been producing songs with SMP style since forever they're not gonna change it, it's one of their signatures.

Is it so hard for people to understand that maybe some people just like what you don't and just accept it and move on. NCT been trashed for their songs by other fandoms yet for me their songs are really great. Out of every title track they released this year, i only don't like Sticker. Everything else is really great and Dream even got their best title track to date with Hello Future.

Another day another Kpop stan not understanding music taste is subjective.

For title tracks yes. They overdo their music like it's a caricature especially for nct and aespa.

I thought SM's goal was to emulate BTS & BP worldwide success. With garbage like this they are getting nowhere

You want Korean language western music, fine go listen to BTS or Blackpink.
