So does race/ethnicity matter in kpop to ifans or not? (getting a lot of mixed responses)

So a lot of ifans have said that they don't want non-East Asians/SEAs in kpop. Even if they are talented and are fluent in Korean. And other times they say race and ethnicity are not important at all and we are all just one race, the human race.
