What groups are getting stale?

  • What groups do you feel like are becoming less interesting and innovative with their music? No longer feel as exciting as they once were, both music-wise and member-wise?

  • itzy their performances are fun to watch but music wise they're very boring and other than yeji the rest are....

  • Twice I just find them so boring now same with itzy the sound is so limited it feels repetitive nothing new same with txt although I think their discography is great they're just uninteresting for some reason lol

  • woah lots of people mentioning itzy.i really like their latest song loco.

yeah i kinda get what you said with txt. their music is solid but still a little safe and unpredictable. the members also don’t grab your attention that much.

their songs are great, but too predictable, it's easy to know what they'll come with next

that's why to me they are getting stale, they lack of diversity and i feel in these 2 years they pratically show us everything they could do musically

  • txt, they were promoted like 'the next big thing', they were impressive when they debut, full of visuals and talent but i dont see them getting any bigger now ngl

  • Twice. I know their songs flopping is the go to reason for everybody help but at the same time there is a reason why they're flopping. The songs just aren't good. Alcohol free is a boring monotone for a summer song and scientist is extremely forgettable.

The feels was decent but that was pretty much a old style Twice song but in English. So it's not like they're doing something new, they're going backwards in time.

  • I was going to mention some bg from mid-tier companies, but I feel too sorry for them to mention them even on anons.

  • Talk shit about nct all you want, they ain't gonna be mentioned here

  • Itzy, they are good performers but the music is stale. I think their lack of vocal range and rap abilities are limiting the music.

Performance is all well and good but music is still most important and they are falling behind on this.

If jyp does not figure this out ASAP - I dont think they can keep up with ive, aespa, stayc

  • The more you stay in business, the harder it is NOT to do something that hadn't been done. Or even done within 1-2 years prior. So it's hard to be creative. Any long lasting group will face this issue.

I know it's not kpop related, but Eminem had an interview once and he mentioned that he was having a hard time coming up with material or songs, because essentially there's nothing left for him to write. I know some groups doesn't have the longevity like Eminem or creativity, but the same could be said, especially in kpop where groups are manufactured by the dozen each year. Hard to do any unique concepts if at all. aespa did it with AIs and that's kinda cool, but their song blows, so there's that.

  • Itzy - Love them but agree that their music is too samey now

Twice - The cutesy love concept stuff is not vibing with their age and time in the industry

BTS - I agree with people who say they are just grammy baiting these days and none of their recent stuff is groundbreaking or amazing at all

Blackpink - Well stale because they are sitting on the shelf

    And...

aespa - Already bored with the kwanga nonsense, "lets throw 5 genres in one song" stuff and dull ass stages.

  • TALK SHIT GET HIT

anyway, i think super junior. like don't get me wrong, they have great songs but its not the same anymore to me. listening to California love too, i was like nah this ain't it.
