maybe if the partner with a western label who will handle promotions/concepts in the west.
sm is not too good at western promo, so they would need a label that knows what they're doing in the west to promote aespa.
aespa has potential ofc, but succeeding as an idol group is all about promotion. sm knows how to effectively promote in Korea, but they need some help promoting in the west.
