Did anyone ever watch Descendants?

Some kids I watch love it so I've seen bits and pieces of the 2nd and some of the 1st. I was 15/16 when it came out so a bit out of the age range to ever have been a fan but I like the chillin like a villain song lmao

OMG YES!! I basically grew up with Descendants.
The first one came out when I was in 4th grade and I remember the movie being extremely popular in my friend group that we were all anticipating the release and played "Descendants" on the playground. And we would fight about who would be Mal because she was/is the most beloved character.
The second one came out when I was in 6th grade and the third came out a couple of weeks before I became an 8th grader and I made sure to watch the premiere on Disney Channel back when we had DirectTV.
I love the soundtrack even though Teen Beach Movie series is my favorite Disney musical.

RIP Cameron Boyce. I enjoyed watching his time on Jessie and on Descendants and though I've never met him, I remember crying so much after his passing was made public.
I remember scrolling through YouTube recommendations of videos about his very recent passing and I couldn't believe it. I teared up a bit but my mind still was in shock. I watched an official news report from a News channel and it was true and I remember crying so much.
I cannot see a picture of him or watch anything that he casted in without a sense of sorrow coming over me...
He will truly be missed.

i was obsessed when the first movie came out.
I've watched all three movies and negl, I've grown out of the phase but the phase get reccomeded on yt every so often and i most def listen to them when they do.

Same! I was OBSESSED. By the time the 3rd one came out, I definitely wasn't as interested as I used to be since I was about to turn 14 but I still made sure to catch the premiere.

yup, I was indeed a young fan. I came across it while watching something on the tv I believe, I think a song or a clip from the movie. Then I watched the movie(it was the second movie, I know I started from the second lol).

China Anne McClain did sooo good on that one.
It's kind of interesting how a lot of the cast of Descendants has played in previous Disney roles.
Like Dove Cameron: Liv and Maddie (gosh I loved that show so much)
China Anne McClain: Ant Farm (I watched a little, not a lot but I was able to recognize her as being on that show for a while)
Cameron Boyce: Jessie
The girl that played Evie (I forgot her name lol) but Adventures in Babysitting (the Disney Channel version not the one with the girl from Karate Kid)
