DISBANDMENT OF THE YEAR FOR 2021

G-Friend I always thought they would be like ApInk, never crazy popular but incredibly long-running in the kpop scene. With that said, I admired them for taking the decision to walk out when thing wasn't working for them.

I thought the same of Lovelyz and CLC (about their longevity) but their companies proved useless when managing them.

Gfriend, I love Lovelyz as well but Gfriend caught me by surprise, I at least knew Lovelyz was going to disband Gfriend I had no clue.

None as I didn't follow any of these groups.

GFRIEND

IZ*ONE's was inevitable so I was ready nonetheless. Also Lovelyz's and CLC's too.

CLC has not disbanded yet. One may consider they technically have, but the fact is their social media keep being updated.

So I'd say GFriend; this was the most significant, unexpected, out-of-the-blue disbandment this year.
