MAMA 2021 proves BTS was saving award shows

    Everyone cried bout the time BTS got to perform at shows but without them and other groups getting so much time to perform, the cracks were evident, the lack of performance skills have been exposed.


    Award shows will be begging for BTS to return next year.

    BTS only elevated them and made it relevant. I am glad they skipped.

    not even an Army, but BTS have more charisma in one of their fingers than most of the performers have in their bodies

    Maybe these idols just don't have 'it'. I was watching some bts performances from 2013-2015 and they were eating the stage up. I was honestly shocked at how good they were even so early in their career.


    People keep saying to give these idols more time and it's starting to seem like those are just excuses. Bts were already making iconic award stages as rookies. Remember that iconic moment with Jihope and jimin ripping off his shirt. It's still talked about and used in many videos til today.


    Bts always makes award shows into huge events that leave people talking. It never mattered if they were leaving the show empty handed, they always went above and beyond with their stages. The current idols seem satisfied with performing the same as or slightly better than music shows. It's clear they're not ready to carry such a huge show on their own.

    I really missed BTS. Not many idols these days have the stage presence of their predecessors. Big Band, 2ne1, BTS, EXO, and most 2nd and 3rd gen groups were amazing performers. I don't see that with many idols these days. Maybe Stray Kids, Itzy, and Enhyphen. TXT also did get better but none of them truely compare with 2nd and 3rd gen.

    bts' stage presence is highly overrated. they are quite dull, i never got the appeal.

    Watch this. They're not even dancing. They own the stage.
