First I'd like to start at the top and thank the United States of America for taking over South Korea in the 1950s and setting up a Democracy and helping them get back on their feet after the Japanese occupation.
Next I'd like to thank all the singers and entertainers in the 60s 70s and 80s who were influenced by American culture and Entertainment and sought to replicate that same magic in their own language and culture.
Then I'd like to think YG and SM for taking it a step further and creating K pop and shaping it to what it is today.
And finally I'd like to thank the Korean people themselves for continuing to procreate and give birth to females so we can have girl groups forever.
Kpop girl groups are the greatest invention in human history. 2nd gen girl groups are still the best ever. But I will always give a new girl group a chance.
