Do u think bighit regrets debuting enhypen under belift?

  • They're barely a year old and doing so good. Even though bighit manages their music and concepts they only own 49% of enhypen. And don't forget some members are trained by bighit. I bet they sometimes regret not debuting enhypen under their own company. 4

  • Hmmm that's an interesting topic actually

  • They could make a similar group anytime.

  • Actually, I don't think they regret that much. Yeah, they don't get 100% from the sales, but also CJ plays a major role in their marketing strategy. Basically, CJ opens their door to brands and CFs and they can appear anywhere, from products packages to big panels in malls. If someone sees a face/brand/group daily they will start to be curious about it.

Believe me, no matter how good you might be, if you don't have a good marketing strategy in such a harsh industry, you will not survive, unless some planets align. Just look how BigHit managed TXT alone, there is a big difference.

  • Although I doubt Bighit regrets it, I have a different question. Why does bighit create sub labels for only one group?

Bighit got them on the biggest tv shows in Korea and got them a collab which they didn't deserve, with an artist that's not on their level. Enhypen don't get any of that.

A collab they didn't deserve? How are we judging that? You act like they forced her. They asked her and because she liked their music she agreed. you also dont know what enhypen will get, seeing as how txt just started getting those type of good opportunities this year.

They're obviously not on the level of one of the most popular artists in Japan and this collab became possible only because of BTS popularity and BigHit's money. The only Korean group that deserves a collab of such scale is BTS.

Theirs marketing kind of sucks i dont see them anywhere on variety shows. Txt's marketing is better than enhypen's.

  • Yall saying cjmen does marketing while i don't see any promo, cjmen jas connection they can send them to variety shows and all that. Cjmen not even playing their part. While hybe gave them several international promos.

Which collab she's talking about? So far txt collabed only with nugus 🤔

Labels are always involved in collabs. Some Kpop idols have collabs with such big western artists but when txt does the same its an issue?

    Since when is Yoasobi nugu?

The only groups that had collabs with big western artists are BTS and BP and they deserved it.

  • I think they do regret it. CJENM is powerful in Korea but they don't have any connections outside Korea. BigHit does. Enhypen is non existent in Korea. I don't think anyone even knows them there. That just shows CJENM did nothing for them. All of their popularity in international market is because of BigHit's association. So BigHit should be feeling hard done when they are the biggest and probably the only reason behind Enhypen success but still have to share the profits.

  • It was the only way to put their show on the biggest idol audition channel: Mnet.

CJ ENM definitely got the upper hand on this. They only had to fund half the project and produce the audition. Now they get half the money without doing any work.

  • People still don’t know them

  • CJ does nothing to promote enhypen. During comebacks, they only send them to three late radio shows and to idol room, that's it. They get no promotion in Korea at all, that explains why nobody in korea knows enhypen despite the fact CJ is so huge there. So far, enhypen hasn't benefited a single bit from that privilege/connection that CJ can provide

Exactly that's what i was trying to say they do nothing still own 50% of enhypen. Their music and concept is done by bighit staff even western promo, they practice in hybe building they appear in hybe content.

Bighit is sending them on Western shows and they even had a deal with some western label but cjmen doing nothing.
