    Approved the thread.
  • so ?

    What's the problem ?

  • Not when BigHit used to mediaplay the HYYH trilogy to make a point they were million sellers lol

"On June 13, BTS's management label BigHit informed media outlets that they expected for the group to "surpass the goal of one million album sales with the 'HwaYangYeonHwa' series." According to BigHit, the one million mark will be achieved by aggregating the sales of 'HwaYangYeonHwa Pt. 1,' 'HwaYangYeonHwa Pt. 2,' and 'HwaYangYeonHwa: Young Forever' together, which sold 274,351, 351,413, and 310,243 copies, respectively. When the numbers are all added up, the sales for BTS's 'HwaYangYeonHwa' album series equal 936,007 copies sold. The album sales are based on data from Gaon. "

  • Well, Billboard and Oricon do too :pepe-toilet:

  • That's how it always worked though, original + repackage is how total sales are counted. Not just for NCT and Exo but all groups.

However I remember when Exo L used to combine Korean and Chinese versions of albums to have high total sales like 1m. That's stupid af.

Nope. Only SM do that before for media play. Certifications count these separately.

  • What's new? NCTzens always try to make NCT seem more popular than they are, SM too
