why is nct dream's songs starting to sound like nct 127's?

I thought nct dream was supposed to do cute concepts.

Literally nothing alike. Both 127 and Dream's releases feel completely different. Please check your ears.

Well it’s pretty awkward to be singing about Chewing Gum and school crushes when you’re 20 to 22 years old now.

Their music is maturing certainly but Hello Future, Dive Into You, etc, aren’t like NCT 127 songs.

Dream continues to have a more pop oriented feel in their songs and higher vocals compared to NCT 127’s more r&b and hip hop driven songs with bolder and often deeper vocals.
