My first kdrama was "King the eternal monarch" but since it was a series from the EU viewers protection program of netflix I believe that the actual first original kdrama was "The smile has left her eyes"! That is when I first saw a dirty roof apartment, first heard the words ajussi, opa etc etc

Oh God that was also among my first kdramas and it's equally just as bad as bof.

But it's still better than bof, with that I agree. And male lead is also slightly better.
