Adding on that Gaeun was technically confirmed to make it, the only shocking one was Samuel, but he suffered from the Bora edit where they didn’t show any growth for him, and Jonghyun has been fishy for the way he dropped but Pledis would have wanted him back too. If all of Nuest debuted, I don’t think Nuest as a group could have been as successful.

Ahaha what I’m trying to say that with those 5th places who dropped, technically only one legitimately went down and it’s sadly because it was a bit of a Miyu case (where fans turned off others from supporting him) and he didn’t get a character edit kinda like Bora but not really on here. Being constantly Angel edited doesn’t help with popularity unless you’re in a different situation (Xiaoting)
