I remember all the threads of people saying Aespa is disappointing, the song sucks, they should follow the current trends and make more basic “palatable” songs reminiscent of other kpop groups.

Ummm how about no? Clearly SM is doing something right because they’re the ONLY GG this year to get an All-Kill. Korea have spoken and let’s be honest the real reason Aespa is doing well is precisely because of how different and unique they are. It’s always funny to me when people hate on a song so much only for that song to end up smashing lol. Same thing happened when Next Level came out
